Mike: Here are the instructions to tighten Topcon horizontal motion clamp:

Remove yellow putty.  Back off one screw 1-2 full turns.  Back off other screw ¼ - ½ turn.  Turn clamps & barrel to tighten onto cam.  Re-tighten screws.
